Non - IELTS route for IENs ( International Educated Nurses ) to become R.N. in UK
Pre-registration programme
It’s a unique course approved and accredited and offered exclusively for foreign educated nurses those who are with 65% and above marks scored in English in their senior secondary examination, opting Non-IELTS route.
Students are accepted for the first year of this two year course with the above qualifications on the basis of a Skype interview. Successful completion of the course leads to NMC registration as R.N. without any further requirement of providing ILETS test score Card. Graduates are exempted from ONP requirement as well.
MSc in Nursing (Professional Practice) + work placement +
ONP (12+6 Months)
BSc Nurses with minimum 12 months post registration work experience and IELTS score of minimum 7.0 in all segments or minimum 6.5 over all are accepted for this programme.
Those with 7.0 in IELTS are directly admitted for ONP after completion of the classroom studies for MSc and supervised placement practice to complete to qualify for registration.
Those with 6.5 and above but not 7 in all segments will be assisted and guided to work hard to improve their English to meet the required level, while completing their MSc and then opt for 6 months work placement or /and enter in to ONP.
BSc in Nursing ( Professional Practice) + Work Placement +
ONP (12+6 months)
GNM nurses with at least 12 months post registration work experience and not less than 6.0 in IELTS are accepted for this programme.
Those with 7.0 in all segments can do ONP immediately after completing BSc class room studies and complete the registration formalities without much hassle, with the help and arrangement offered by the University.
Those with less than 7.0 but 6.0 and above in IELTS will do the BSc professional practice programme, and will go for work placement for 6 months or / and do ONP if they have improved their English and would have met the required level set by the NMC.
