Peoples' Friendship University Of Russia (PFUR)
Home to around 30,000 students, PFUR is currently No. 4 of Russia’s more than1,100 universities. Founded in 1960, it was renamed Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia in 1992. Withmore than 12,000 students enrolled, PFUR employs over 1,600 professors and instructors, including over 200 doctors of science and some 800 candidates of science (Ph.D.s) and more than 60 academicians. At PFUR, one can get a degree in one’s chosen area of expertise as well as in one or two foreign languages and, possibly, a second area of expertise.

Russian State Medical University (RSMU)
is a State University founded in 1906 in Moscow, offering Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in various streams. International
students have the option to choose the medium of instructions in Russian or in English languages.
Structurally the University includes 4 scientific research institutes, among which the Institute of Gerontology included in 2008 according to the decision of the Government of the Russian Federation; 24 programs and self-supporting laboratories as parts of 6 scientific departments; 8 educational faculties and the Faculty of Advanced Training of Doctors with the total of 140 departments. fifty of these departments take part in the training of English speaking foreign students.

2. Stavropol State Medical Academy (StSMA)
Stavropol State Medical Academy is also a state University of Russia situated at Stavropol city which offer medicine programmes in English Language. It was founded in 1938. Foreign experts are preparing here in General Medicine and Dentistry specialties.
The Academy has a library, which numbers about 500 000 copies of books and periodicals. It has also its own editions, the Academy newspaper «Medicus» and a scientific practice magazine «Medical Bulletin of North Caucasus».
Persons having the higher medical education are eligible to study in the Post-Diploma Training Course (Clinical Internship – 1 year, Residency – 2 years or more; Postgraduate Course – 3-4 years; Doctoranture – 5 years.)
