A Lithuanian degree diploma is recognized in all countries which have signed the Lisbon Convention - signed by 50 countries and international organizations, such as the European Union, USA, Australia, Canada, Israel, Turkey New Zealand, Ukraine Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia etc. That means students can be sure that their qualifications gained in Lithuania will be valid in all these countries.

VISA
Students from India have to apply for national VISA (D) and temporary residence permit in the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania. Visa is issued within 10 days and allows entering the country and starting your studies in Lithuania while TRP is issued after your arrival to Lithuania and start of the studies.
HOW TO REACH LITHUANIA
International students can fly directly to the international airport in Kaunas or Vilnius either from any main city of EU or any CIS countries. International or admission office will organize meeting you at the airport on arrival or any other kind of assistance. Mentors provided by many Universities, will help you to orient in the city, to find faculty and to avoid many of the worries on the first days in Lithuania.
WHERE TO LIVE
The easiest way to meet other students, to make friends from the very beginning in a new place is to live in the dormitory. All Universities have students’ dormitories where students can have their own shared room, kitchen laundry and other facilities. The dormitories are renovated; the rooms are furnished and ready to accept students. Internet connections are available at a very low price. The price person depends up on the University, the type of room, additional facilities but it could around €100 per month.
