2 year international Diploma Course – Level 5

This 2 year programme provides students with an outstanding suite of qualifications, several of which are well recognized internationally, directed towards a career within the exciting worlds of travel, tourism and associated business. Designed for international students, the course sets graduates one clear pathway in to employment, business, or directly in to further tertiary studies at University level. International qualifications from IATA /UFTAA are included providing students with clear international recognition of their studies.

Diploma In Advanced Travel And Tourism Management

This Diploma in Advanced Travel and Tourism Management (Level6) is a 2 year programme specifically for students wanting the highest level of qualification.

The programme is based on the Higher National Diploma (HND) in Travel and Tourism Management, a well established international qualification developed by Edexcel UK, who are the awarding body for the qualification.

The qualification is awarded at Distinction, merit and Pass Levels. Those who are awarded Distinction and Merit Levels can progress to the third year of a BA/BSc programme in UK and Australian Universities.

A suite of travel and tourism unit standards specific to the New Zealand industry is also included in order to provide technical skills and destination content, maximizing students’ employment opportunities at graduation.

The inclusion of an international computer reservations system completes the foundation semester, providing students with exposure to a range of systems in use within the international airline world.
