To work, as a nurse in Australia registration with the Australian Nursing Board is mandatory and please note that direct registration with the nursing board is not possible because the Indian nurse's qualification and clinical experience does not meet with the required Australian nursing standards. In order to become an eligible candidate for registration with the Australian Nursing Board it is necessary for an overseas nurse to undergo a bridging / conversion programme in Australia.
We have 3 such programmes (3 months, 6 months, 1 year) for Indian nurses who are looking forward to register with Australian Nursing Board and work thereafter.
