Study Abroad

Erasmus+ Scholarships

The university supports internships in Europe and study abroad at Erasmus+ partner universities.

There are two types of scholarships and they are

Erasmus Incoming

These scholarships are for students who are studying at one of the partner universities and are interested in staying at this university.

Erasmus outgoing

Students can receive funding via Erasmus+ for a total of up to 12 months. Erasmus+ stays, like studies and internships, are possible to get scholarships for in this Program.

Study abroad for students (SMS)

Students have the opportunity to pursue their studies at a European partner institution located in another country for a minimum duration of 90 days.

This opportunity becomes available following the completion of four semesters for a bachelor’s degree or two semesters for a master’s degree.

The primary objective of this initiative is to enhance students’ social and cultural competencies, while also bolstering their future professional opportunities.

Internship abroad for students (SMP)

Students have the opportunity to engage in internships at companies or institutions, excluding partner universities, located in a European member state other than Germany.

The duration of these internships needs to be a minimum of 60 days.

PROMOS

PROMOS scholarships for international study are granted on the basis of professional competence and personal suitability.

The monthly funding rates vary depending on the specific country.

Students get these scholarships for a minimum stay of 3 months.

Summer School

During a summer or winter school program, students engage in focused study of a particular subject within a designated course during a period free of usual lectures. The duration of the courses typically ranges from one to ten weeks, rendering them suitable for both professional development and introductory exploration of specific subject areas.

Language courses
