Riga Stradins university is in the process of getting ready for the September 2022 admission of international students.
STUDY PROGRAMMES FOR SEPTEMBER 2022
RSU intends to admit international students to its study programme “Medicine” and the “Dentistry” study programme.
RSU is one of the most famous universities in Europe, offering medical and health care study courses in the medium of instruction of English. The six-year medicine course and the 5-year course in dentistry are entirely taught in English.
Graduates from both the courses have the opportunity to progress to their chosen residency programme in the same university if they wish to do so.
In addition to this, medical and dental qualifications from RSU are accepted all over Europe. Most international graduates prefer to practice medicine in the UK, Ireland or Germany after completing their courses at RSU.
The university is also open to international students on the other programs they provide in English.
The RSU programs in September 2022 also include;
- International Business and Start-up Entrepreneurship
- Health Management
- International Governance and Diplomacy
- Russia and Eurasia Studies
- Biostatistics
These courses are significantly cost-effective compared to similar countries in Europe. The above-said courses only charge EUR 2500-5500 per year.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR 2022/2023
International high school leavers can apply for the medicine and dentistry programme to achieve at least 70% in their 12th-grade examination. Only Bio-maths group studied students are accepted as maths is mandatory.
All other programmes mentioned are offered in English and require 65% marks.
If applicable, school leaving certificates and marks, degree certificates and marks, evidence of English language skills are the primary documents required to apply.
Students from India will require to get their qualifications and apostille to meet the admission criteria.
Applications Procedure will take a longer time to update at RSU. Therefore the university’s admission team suggests international students apply as early as possible.
